Doula Services Montreal

Shall we start?

Birth Doula:

It's a fact that women birth more easily and with fewer complications when attended by a supportive team including your doula, with whom you built a strong and personal relationship throughout your pregnancy and who knows and understands what you need to get comfortable, open and relaxed in order to give birth to the baby! After all, birth is about being able to be open!

I will support your healthy lifestyle, with good nutrition, and physical activity. And importantly if not more importantly during pregnancy, be there for you to share your emotions, your expectations and put to rest your fears – Choosing to become a parent doesn’t necessarily mean we know how to navigate pregnant.

While in the hospital, the doctor’s role is to keep you safe – mine is to keep you going!

Postpartum Doula:

Giving birth is undoubtedly the most intense and challenging experience a human body can go through. Involving drastic changes that are physical, emotional and hormonal, resulting in heightened sensitivity, pain as your body is healing and extreme exhaustion in part caused by lack of sleep as you are adjusting to caring for a newborn who is on a two hour feeding cycle.

If this is not challenging enough, you may already be a mom to other children who, although thrilled with their new sibling, are demanding your full time and attention!

As a postpartum Doula I am available to meet with you at your home immediately or within the first few days of giving birth. I can be there to assist you with the first baby bath, breastfeeding/bottle feeding, daily routine and sleeping. I am there to provide answers to your questions and can coach your partners on how to best support you during this time of transition and healing.

Amongst my services are meal preparation, reorganisation and restocking your pantry.
